I bought a home computer from Rent a center and paid why to much . $4,460.27 !! After I paid it off I ask for my disk or operating system. I felt that it was mine , it went to my computer right? Wrong !! Not according to them. They told me that if something went wrong that they would still fix it for free. Well something did, when I called them they did say they would fix it but I would have to RENT a computer from them until they could fix mine !! Why would I do something stupid like that again ? $4,460.27 was not enough for them they wanted more! I have tried to get in touch with corporate but never heard back from them. All I want is my operating system. (Windows XP )

After all, if I went to best buy (were I should have went ) I would have payed a lot less and had all of my own disk . How many people are using the same operating system from them. I wounder if Micro soft knows about this?

WHY DID YOU PAY $4,460 FOR A COMPUTER? JUST SO YOU KNOW, OU CAN GO BUY A COMPLETE COMPUTER SYSTEM FROM MANY RETAIL STORES LIKE BEST BUY, WALMART, OR ANYWHERE ELSE FOR AROUND $400 WITH WHAT YOU PAID, YOU COULD HAVE BOUGHT 13 NEW COMPUTERS AND STARTED YOUR OWN COMPANY! SERIOUSLY!

First off no disk come with computer. You could afford to go pay all at once from best buy

Your operating system is Windows XP, so I'm sure that Microsoft is extremely happy that tons of people are using their operating system. Recovery disks are a thing of the past. All of your system restore functions can be done by simply pressing a button or two. If you have a Dell, it's Ctrl+F11 when you turn on the computer. If it's a Compaq, hold down F10 when you turn it on. Same is true for an HP. Hope this helps a little bit.
