Dear Customer, Lets put it this way...It's easier to place an order over the phone or online than it is to speak to a customer service representative to have your card not billed or refunded. See, Video Professor has 3-4 different call centers with different 1-800 numbers for ordering or for customer service complaints and issues. Now the number 1-800-525-7763 is the main call center number in which customers can either call to return products, have questions answered in regards to billing and returns or even recieve technical support for the CD's in question. This particular call center, located at 1022 w 2nd pl. Lakewood, CO 80228, is only staffed with 250 to 300 call center representatives to address the needs of the thousands of customers who've placed orders, either over the phone or internet (how conveinant). So yes, it's a bit difficult to get your request made or known, especially if all your getting is a automated voice program. So you have the options of either waiting to speak to a representative or to submit your issue, via email to [email protected], which will take a while to address as well, considering there's only 3 people in that department to address customers' concerns. However, they do make it a point to address these concerns and issue refunds as soon as possible. The reason being, it's cheaper for Video Professor to issue an immediate refund without return, rather than to settle it as a dispute made from the customer to the customer's credit card company. So, what I might suggest is that first of all, if the script read to you was only for the free CD (and the single free CD is an availble option) and you still received the 3-CD review set, I suggest that you might call the 1-800 number that you initially dialed, which more than likely will be directed towards the West Call Center in Omaha, Nebraska, and file a complaint. The customer service representatives at 1-800-252-7763 are underpaid, overstressed and more than likely will just give you a rebuttal resulting in commisioned sale for the rep that goes, "Well if you keep all 3 CD's and the charge of $69.95, we'll be more than happy to send you 6 more CD's, consisting of 2 differrent titles, absolutely free! That's a value of $139.90 for absoulutely free!" Karla Hallquist (teleservices) is the script writer and Video Professor correspondant for West. To voice your frustration, might I suggest sending her an email at [email protected] and letting her know of your particular situation, especially if all you initially wanted was the free single CD for the $6.95 freight charge. If that doesn't work, I suggest you might send an email to the company president, Bettye Harrison, at [email protected]. She's pretty much the Queen Bee at Video Professor, and I urge you to contact her if you really want to rattle Video Professor's cage and trouble the waters, so to speak. Oh yeah, here's another person you can antagonize and create conflict for. Her name is Kathy Franz, the Human Resource Manager. Now this person is a total b***h, and just another manipulator of bureaucratic practices and procedures at Video Professor. She's pretty much represents the entity of all evils involving corporate politics. She has no concern for the needs and concerns of Video Professor customers service representatives, and completely sides with the upper echelon of marketing and Video Professor senior management. It's people like her that keep the Video Professor money making machine operating and functional. Keep up the good fight and remember that you have allot of options in regards to protecting your consumer rights. Pulse

I don't know if you realized this or not but you have to send one of your CDs back within 30 days in order to not be charged the $69.95. If you do not send one of the CDs back then they will charge you. This is possibly why you were charged.
