These types of predatory lenders specialize in the dirty tactic of deliberately damaging/ruining your credit so that you can't re-finance with a legitimate company. Payments don't get posted and they report to the credit bureaus that you are multiple months late. which will wreak havoc with your credit. Try to re-finance this loan with another company. If you can't, it is CRITICAL that you keep all correspondence with this firm in the form of a Registered Letter with Return Receipt. This will cost $3 each time, but it's worth it. Send out two Registered Letters with Return Receipt per month. one requesting the balance due per month. Send all payments via Registered Mail with Return Receipt. If you use this method it's impossible for them to pull the late payment - repossession scam that they play so well. If they try this you'll have excellent documentation against them

The site is still there. I was just there. Try the roadloans.com again. Sometimes they do site maintenance and it's down. Make sure you enter the www some sites won't take you there unless you do. If that doesn't work, clear you computer cache and try again. Sometimes it's simply a cookie issue. I too mailed our regular payment on the 10th. All my other bills get places in 2-4 days. They seem to take the longest. Mine was due on the 18th and according to the website they haven't received it but they didn't call on the 18th, 19th, or 20th, which probably means they have it but haven't posted it. We are almost done with our loan and we have had only one problem with them. My husband was hurt on the job in 2002 and we were approved for a 2 month deferrment in writing. I still have the letter from them proving it. They still dinged our credit report for a 30 day late!! Luckily when we bought our home I was able to prove with the letter that they had deferred our loan! I will say that we would not have went with them had I found this site before we did. But we have been one of the lucky ones. I am still worried about getting title when it's paid off but we'll fight that when the time comes. Our loan with them is a simple interest so yours is probably as well. I'm surprised it's not mentioned in your paperwork tho'. I wish you had found ROR before choosing Triad. Good luck and don't stress too much. How many years did you commit for?
