Triad Financial - RoadLoans Repossessed My Vehicle during the same time period pmt. was being made Palatine Illinois
Triad Financial not only continues to harrass but still assumes that their tactics on getting paid is legal.
Due to unforseen circumstances I was told in October 2007 that I was eligible for a 2 month deferred pmt. if I made only one pmt. to catch up to the current month. I did as they told me by phone. However they did not hold the pmt. until the date promised they deposited it two days early.
After several attempts of making a online pmt. I phoned Triad and tried to make a pmt. over the phone using my debit/mc. logo card.
I was told by Lois that this card was not being accepted (after talking to her supervisor) and that I needed to make a pmt. using a actual bank card with a Visa logo (?) why this would work and the mc. wouldn't is beyond me at this point. I told her that I was on my way to work and that I would call back within 48 hours. I phoned Triad back on the 2oth and again tried to make pmt. now, using a bank card and was again denied because this time I was told that I had to make a full and total pmt. of $538.00 plus fees for it to be accepted. I was told to make pmt. by Western Union.
I was to make pmt. by western union on the 21st. on my lunch hour when I was phoned by a repo man inside my place of business asking me if I wanted to get anything out of my vehicle BEFORE he reposessed it. Of course you can imagine my upset, I had been trying to make the pmt. due for two days and had just had a NEW SET OF TIRES (not even 20 miles on them) put on the vehicle (Now tell me they weren't watching me!)
Trying to get through to anyone at Triad is like getting all your teeth pulled without the novicane. They are down right IGNORANT and don't even want to listen or help in anyway. They gave me a number to call about storage on my vehicle and the man there is just as ignorant. He will not give any info about fees at all... Tells me storage may be anywhere from $0.00 - $5000.00.
Triad tells me that I now owe $1236.00 to them on a $8000.00 loan and that my car is not entitled to immediate relief if it doesn't fit the storage unit's schedule.
This company is by far working legal in any state and is making money off of dishonesty. I am proof that they set their clients up and then profit off of them.
Please include me in any and all lawsuits or actions against this Company.
