Back at the end of August 2003, I was contacted by a man named Alan. He offered me a credit card with a credit limit of $2000 for a one time fee of $299.00. Needing the money, I set up the withdrawal for Sept 4th.
However, just before the 4th, I had second thoughts, and called the company. To my dismay they offered to extend the date for 2 months, and I reluctantly agreed. If I wanted to cancel or postpone, I needed to call them 3 days before the transaction was to take place.
I did call them. On the 31st of October, just four days before 11/4. I tried the toll-free number they gave and sat on hold for over an hour! I tried the next day, and the phone was constantly busy. The same for the next two days after that.
The $299 was removed like clock-work from my account. I finally resolved that it was "okay", because I would be receiving my Credit Card in 10 to 14 days!....Well, I didn't recv anything till 12/26!!!!!And that was after many phone calls and a whole lot of cursing!.....Like everyone else, I receive a worthless pack of junk!....Not a credit card in sight!
I called the company...or at least I tried...but it was always busy. My sister found all the rip-off reports on this website, and I took all copies of the reports to my local bank (Citizens bank)...I filed several reports of fraud, but my bank would not reverse the charge. I was told that they would have to investigate and would contact me in 2 weeks. Well, I haven't heard anything from the yet...I called today and spoke with the manager and she promised to get back to me. Other wise I'm still out $299 !!!!Please help!
