Tell us has your experience with this business or person been good? What's this?

They took Four (4) Deposits from me 1/5/2017 and (3) Three on 2/3/2017 c;aiming that one of my checks was not valid.. I recieved one (1) message back from them in reference to this situation after being hung up on 147 times and yes that's 147 times because once they close the account you no longer recieve phone support from anyone.. The one messae recieved said I could re negotiate the checks from my deposit with another bank, which would be great if they didn't clear the issuing bank already!! So they do in deed have my funds and have refused to speak with me, the FDIC, BBB, 2 Police stations one in Portland OR and one local. I have also reported them to the FBI finance fraud department and banking. Seems they don't care and are reading a script with no purpose. This has continued for weeks and last thing to do is file in federal court. DO NOT use these people, you will be very sorry in the end.

1 more thing, I contacted the banks that the checks had been written on and also have written proof from them that the checks cleared with funds going to Simple. The Direct Deposit from work even went into the account, they have not given one message call or letter to confirm the status of me getting my money back or even fixing this issue... What about the funds available in my account prior to them closing it, who knows!! I'm sure if you woke up one morning and the bank clossed your account and gave you no comminication on what was going on or why this has happpened.. you yourself would be pissed!!

Simple Bank doesn't allow funds to be available till the Check Clears the issuing bank!! I posted like many other people do so is it known that this has happenend.. I don't want anyone to feel bad for me!! this is an on going issue and is 100% true. I find it kinda strange how you have so much to say in a negative way supporting a bank that has stolen funds from so many people. I have supplied all the supporting documents to the FDIC, BBB, AG's office and my attorney who are all saying the samething. This is wrong and what they have done needs to be corrected.

You obviously wrote this report for "shock value" and to gain some sympathy. But your fluff and lack of REAL detail had quite the opposite effect. After all you made it a point to call them 147 times getting "hung up on" every time? So the first 146 times weren't a hint you needed to call again?

You know if they called YOU 147 times you would be here screaming "harassment".

Also, unless you are going to come here and say that they are picking on you just because they felt like it, there isn't a single bank that will call a check "fraudulent" or bad if the originating bank has processed it. So there is something you are not saying.

This goes back to these "checks". What was the source of these checks, do you know the person personally. As this sounds like it could be a very common scam. Where you get a check(or in your case checks) from someone you don't know for some sort of "work". But part of this "work" is to take the check cash it with your bank and then send them most of the money back. Of course keeping a certain amount for your "work".

The problem is that due to Federal Regulations the check funds are made available before it actually clears the

other bank. So you "think" it is okay, when it actually isn't. Then in a few days or even weeks that check comes back as fraudulent and the bank holds you responsible. Unfortunately they are right and because of your now higher risk they can close out your account. And because these scammers aren't even in the Country and make it a point to be very untraceable you will find that no FBI office, Police Department or any Government Agency will do more than take a report for their "files".
