Sherman Way Car Wash Ripoff, terrible customer service North Hollywood California
I just purchased a product for my car at the Sherman Way Car Wash (at the corner of Fulton and Sherman Way, in North Hollywood, CA). It didn't work; so after driving with it in my car for a few blocks, I turned around to return it for a refund.
After I got my money back, the cashier put the defective product back into the bag it came in and was repackaging it. So, I asked her if she was going to resell this defective product to someone else. She replied, "Is that your business?" I then asked her who the manager was. She said that she was the only one there and then rudely asked me, "What do you want?". I said "nothing" and walked away.
I was furious because of her attitude and because some other customer is probably going to buy that "used" and defective product. I don't know this for sure, but if a product is defective, I would think that it should be sent back to wherever they got it and not resold to someone else.
On top of that, I had asked the attendant to make sure my trash was emptied, because it wasn't the last time I went there. Well, guess what? It was just as full when I left there as when I got there.
Needless to say - they just lost a fairly frequent customer! It's really unfortunate, because the location is very convenient for me and they do a good job cleaning my car. Oh well!
