SELL YOUR DIAMONDS AND GOLD Matthew Rogers, RIP-OFF!!!! DO NOT send your valuables to this company!!! Ottawa, Ontario Canada
Exactly two weeks after sending my jewelry to "Sell Your Diamonds and Gold", I received an email from the company asking if I had sent my items yet. Bells and whistles went off immediately.
I sent two separate emails after this with an itemized list of what I had sent to them and that I would appreciate an email back when they received my package.
Almost two weeks later I received an email from Matthew Rogers -- Supervisor of Customer Service indicating that a settlement cheque had been issued and that they look forward to doing business with me in the future.
I grew anxious as yet another two weeks had passed and still no cheque in the mail. Again I emailed Matthew Rogers questioning where my cheque was, as their add promises payment is to be mailed within 2 days of receiving the package .
The next day a cheque came to me for a total of $17.36. I was outraged. At the least I had sent a man's wedding band with 3 diamonds, a woman's gold wedding band, gold and diamond earrings and necklaces. I had 9 items in my Diamonds and Gold Pak that I sent through the mail and they issued me, after almost one and a half months of waiting, a cheque for $17.36.
I contacted the toll free number from the website who then advised me I would need to contact their service department. Surprise when I received the answering service and was to leave a message. I have demanded to have my jewelry sent back to me, and I would return their cheque. I have left both a message with the service--to which I have not yet had a response back and again, another email advising that all correspondence was being printed for future reference.
SAVE YOURSELF THIS HEADACHE AND DO NOT SEND YOUR DIAMONDS AND GOLD TO THIS COMPANY!! THEYARE A HUGE RIP OFF COMPANY AND I CAN ONLY HOPE THAT I WILL HAVE MY OLD JEWELLERY RETURNED TO ME--WITH THE REAL DIAMONDS I SENT!!
