Matt in Olathe KS, I must admit that I am unhappy after reading your post. I am a regional manager with Safeguard Pest Control, Kansas City is in my region. I am sorry about your negative experience with our company. We do indeed honor our MONEY BACK GUARANTEE policy. In order to qualify for a full refund on services performed we ask customers to allow us to perform at least two FREE RETREATMENTS in order to bring the pest problem under control. If Safeguard is unable to remedy the pest problem after these FREE RETREATMENTS we guarantee to refund the customer's most recent service charge. As I am unaware of the specifics on your accounts I cannot speak to why we were unable to remedy your pest problem. I must defend our door to door salesrep that originally sold you the Safeguard service plan. He was one of our hard working college students attempting to make some money during his summer break. While I am not naive enough to assume that these hard working students do not get over zealous at times, I do not believe that they are looking to decieve or mislead anyone. I hope to think this was an exception rather than the rule. At any rate, I am sorry for your experience with our company. We service over 60,000 customers across the country. We do our best, and I believe we do better than most of our competitors but obviously we dropped the ball at your home. For that I am sorry.
