You will read many complaints about MTC truck driving training. Active investigation going on now. Contact their and your attorney generals office and file an online consumer complaint. Contact missouri governors office and local media. I trust fox newses Chris Hayes. get the word out there. If you read this and are considering on going, think again. There are real truck driving courses out there, like community colleges, and local agencies like career links that can refer and maybe even pay for you under WOIA job training. MTC will make you a temp resident to which Missouri takes your current state license and issues you a Missouri one. The school gets your mail containing your license and holds it until they hand it out to you.
What you get is all temprorary. File complaints mentioned and US Postal service if you are denied your mail by motel or school for taking it from motel/hotel.. obtain videos, pics of vehicles, do not complete false log books with them and file grievances with Joe. Expect little time in trucks, little instruction from instructors on yard. Students teach students because of lack of instructors. Trucks are a joke with maintenance issues, expect wages garnished as I have read from other complaints. Research, research and research. I am going to tell you.. you can get real training cheaper and not have to leave state in most cases. Check with Career Links in your area and ask for job training availabilities. Dont get scammed. Its a revolving door and I have seen many leave, removed for them to collect on. Dont be the cash cow.
