MCI Worldcom Wireless Rip off in Florence SC - They should be investigated!!
I just happened to come across this web page and read the complaints about Worldcom Wireless. Happy to know I am not alone! Have been having problems with them since I discontinued my service in Oct. They were stacking bills and every time I thought I had them paid off, I'de get another bill. Have called them six times to try and straighten things out. One of the customer service people couldn't even figure out what I owed and heard him mumble ,"What have they done here?" Yes , they are rude, and yes, you are put on hold for ever. This last time was the clincher. Paid off my bill with a credit card because for some reason they had my check but didn't cash it for a month! Thought I was finished with them?? As they say..."not!" I receive a call that I owe them money. Explained that the bill was paid a week ago by credit card and that I put a stop on the check they hadn't cashed. They were showing the check on their computer, but when I checked with the bank it still had not been cashed. Needless to say, I lost it on the phone and this time I was the rude one! These people are either very stupid or very smart but I am going to try to make life as difficult as possible for them from now on. If it is in my power, I will make sure no one will sign up with this company in the future.
