I signed up for MCI WorldCom Wireless service in September, 2001, when they visited my company and set up a table in our lobby.

I have a 2 year contract which specifically states the terms of the agreement, including the fact that I live in, and my service must be in, the Cincinnati calling area.

My first bill was for $200.00. I was in shock! As I read it I saw that EVERY call I made was being billed as a "roaming" call, even though all were made from my home base of Cincinnati.

I first called Customer Service, who informed me first that I did not have an account. Then I was told that the computers were down and that someone would call me back withing 24 hours. I am still waiting!

Three more subsequent calls received the same response.

I then called the sales representative who signed me up, who informed me that this was a big problem with MCI, and that he would call them right away, credit my account, and set up the correct calling area.

Two more bills have followed, all of which still list all calls as "roaming", and no credits to be seen. The sales representative will no longer take my calls, saying that it is a customer service issue and I need to contact them directly.

I now have a bill which totals over $400 and am unable to reach ANYONE at MCI WorldCom Wireless who will even take the time to research my complaint.

Bring it to a local dealer wo should be able to fix that problem. With that the dealer if he sells worldcom shuld have a direct number he could call to have the bill fixed
