I had went to JD Byrider on 02/08/2011 based on the convincing letters i kept recieving via mail and my credit score it seem like a good idea at first. I'm a single mom with 2 kids needing reliable transportation to get me back and fourth to work, my children to daycare I was desperate for transportation.
I went there early morning on 02/08/2011 with my boys who were 3 and 6 months after an hour my kids started to get fed up anf really so was I. The sales lady stated to me since the kids are getting a little anxious I'm going to speed things up, the whole process felt like i was signing my life over to the Devil because since I had this car it has been nothing but hell.
I dont know how they determine the financing becasue its unfair I traded in my 2002 Dodge status only got 1500 and put down 1500 in cash and still had a balance owed of 12,000 and some change. Right now I;m driving a 2002 Honda Civic EX I had to take to JD Byrider twice for the same check engine light problem which the secong time my care broke down I had to get towed and they say the extra 9,000 is for the problem what problem they wouldnt even cover the towing fees from the Southside to Monroeville. The gas tank button stopped working, the inside interior is falling apart as the days go by. This was the worst decision I ever made in my life and when i was seating in that chair listening to the sales lady I really thought she cared but she was just trying to make a dollar off of me now me and my kids are having more problems then before as far as transportation. Then the service department didnt even know what was wrong with my car the first time I took it there had if for a whole week and I'm preety sure they replaced the engine, till this day never once gave me a good explination of what was wrong with my car. When I got it towed there they said they put an old or bad part in my car they waste so much of your time dont provide a rental or anything. I have cried and researched about how i could ge rid of this car and this contract because it has ruined my life I rather walk then continue paying 326.00 for a 2002 Honda civivc that is not reliable but a piece of junk yard crap they sold to people like us who are just asking for honest help but instead getting scammed. If the financial figures were not to your liking, then why did you agree to it? Did you TEST DRIVE this thing?
