A cruise for two was offered online, just by making a no obligation appt. online, which I did. I filled out their form, requesting blue ceramic tiles and red oak or medium color solid hardwood. Their rep. showed up. He only brought brown tiles and he said he was looking for a blue house. ??!! He left without even showing us any hardwood. He said most people want it done now but I had told him we want the hardwood done now, in three rooms. He left quickly stating he likes to start the next day, that most people want him to start the next day. I was put off and disgusted with his behavior. When a woman called the next day, I told her what happened, asked her about the cruise and asked don't you people read the forms we fill out? She did. The rep. brought what he liked. He even admitted so. She scheduled someone else the following weekend. He was better and we ended up deciding on ceramic throughout, but he only had one blue tile and it wasn't all that blue, just a slight hint of blue. No cruise. Just a scam. Further, they wanted $8.00 installed for a very basic, plain, almost commercial-looking tile. A ridiculously high price. He said others will nickel and dime us, but he dollared us. He refused to give us the price for the tile alone. His itemization broke down to basic tile at a huge cost and no doubt their profit would be well above anyone else. We've been looking and even at Home Depot, we would get a higher quality tile, $3.25 - $4.25 installed, depending on the choice. They have installers. Don't even waste your time with these people who come to you. You will pay for it in the end. Empire is another one, similarly high cost. All Express had were off-whites and tans. I learned that the first rep. was too lazy to go to their showroom and pick up the one blue sample they had. They can only carry so much in their cars.

Besides taking more than 6 weeks to receive...

There is NOTHING free about their Cruise Offer.  You must pay $50 [refundable] registration fee + $299/pp dbl occ for an inside stateroom, and all transportation  to port cities and transfers are also your obligation.  Folks, the cruise line will sell you an inside stateroom for $299 any day of the year!  What part of this offer is FREE exactly???

It also took nearly a dozen calls and messages to finally receive the 'certificate' which was nothing more than the info to contact a Laguna Beach Incentive Travel Agency.  they are selling cruises at list prices, adding a #50 fee to book with them and Express Flooring is calling it a Free Cruise upon completion of work.  Work was completed early December2011... flier not received until 14 January 2012.

Is this type of marketing legal in AZ?

I wonder what kind of salary Henry earns for warding off bad publicity so often. If anyone has too much time on their hands, it seems to be Henry. I had to read through each complaint posted in this forum just to see how awful my experience was in comparrison. I posted my own experience just recently. I'll have to see what Henry has to say about my complaint. I honestly do not believe that the consumers that have posted their experiences with Express Flooring on this website are lying.

When was the last time anyone reading this walked into a store to buy something, but could not find anything they liked? Did you immediately go to your computer and post terrible things about that store on the internet? NO!!! Of course you didn't. You didn't because that would be ridiculous and quite frankly, you probably would never even think to do it. This is the single most ridiculous complaint I have ever heard of in my life, period! I sincerely hope that anyone reading it finds this as absurd as I do. Please do not get me wrong, it is very disappointing to hear that any potential customer was unable to find flooring to their liking from our company. But in all seriousness, that does not make us bad people. Please simply disregard this complaint, as it is nothing but nonsense and product of someone with far too much time on their hands. We are very sorry and regretful that our company was portrayed in a negative light, but we are confident that anyone reading this is intelligent enough to see just how ridiculous these statements are. Sincerely, Express Home Services, LLC
