I think it is about time I wrote a full and exacting statement regarding Mr Cloete's comments. Yes we did indeed sub contract "one website" not two to Mr Cloete. The fact that he is a one man band trying to trade and be perceived as a major company is non effective. had we reserached the facts more then we would have found out about this. We agreed to pay $1000 for a web site construction. The site was of really poor quality and our clients would not pay, simple fact. The site has been totally re-written and now is fine. Anybody in business such as myself simply does not pay a third party if the work is of poor quality. Would any of you people reading this pay for example a builder who has not completed the job to a satisfactory state? correct, know you wouldn't. If I have a client who is not happy then we rectify the situation immediately. It seems Mr Cloete's huge business :) cannot stand a hit for a miniscule $1000. Bizarre as within previous emails from him he said and I quote " our turnover is over $30 million" .. now apart from blatantly lying to me he now thinks slandering myself is going to ensure he gets paid. Well folks, there is more chance of seeing Lord Lucan on Shergar than me paying the guy a dime or a pound. If anybody would like references for our business, please feel free to contact any of the hundreds of clients listed on the site for 100% feedback. I also find it bizarre that Mr Cloete has to use our clients web sites as references as he doesn't obviously have any of his own. I think this situation is quite amusing and wait for the retort from Mr Cloete. A lesson to Mr Cloete for the future - don't bullshit people and blantantly lie about the size of your buisness and how many employees you have, also i would suggest he looks for a job in another industry as he obviously hasn't got the skills required to do anything himself. One last thing - Please email me directly at chester at european digital media ltd with where you would like the $1000 to go to folks. The best cause or charity will receive the money that was supposed to be paid to Mr Cloete. I love winding people up I really do, do these people honestly think that after 20 very successful years in business that I will give in to blackmail? Mr Cloete, I would also suggest you look for a new web hosting company as they will be removing copyrighted material you are using without "our clients" permission. Chester, After reading your comments I cannot help to laugh out load. Firstly in my entire live I have never been based in Nigeria (I am a true south-african born and bread). Secondly I have recorded telephone conversations with yourself and baybat to confirm the work was done and you owe us the money and you were paid for it. And lastly a company with 800 employees does not have a 40 mil turn over, they simply could not continue to exist. We have around 42 employees at the moment which is completely accurate. Lastly we have a letter from spatial design (who's name you cant even spell), informing us that they are terminating our relationship largely due to you, and your bad way of doing things. The last though is, your are not the owner/MD of 19 companies. You are the one man band, anyone with a phone can simply call your london office to see it is a virtual office. All I am asking is pay us our money and this will stop. Anyone please just google this monkey and you will see. So you know the next step is, to send a email to any and all of your clients we can find to tell what a big crook and thief you are. if you like this to continue then dont pay us. As I mentioned to you before I will not stop until you pay us. You are truely a pig! Well, I am the MD of EDML and thought might be good idea to respond to the slanderous comments posted. At present we have issued a writ against the party involved. Mr Gert Cloete undertook a project for us last year. He bidded on freelancer and set a fee of $1000. Gert told us he has a turnover over 40 million with some 800 employees. After the project started we found his company to be a one man band and also he formed ourdotcompany.com at the salme time. ourdotcompany.com has a list of their clients, one of which is Spatial Desing, the owner of which (our client) has also issued a writ as he never agreed or even knows who Gert is. This is a cse of a sole trader putreying to be a large company. He describes himself as the Chief Operating Officer CEO, of what though lol :) got to laugh. The problem here is the work was never completed so we simply iddint pay, we then had to pay another company to finish the work. Now i have been in buisness for over 20 years am the MD of 19 companies and my reputation is paramount. I think this site owner should tread very carefully when poqsting comments without the facts. People are people and we look deeper we might even find Mr Cloete is based in Nigeria. So what does that tell you :) Now, i consider this matter closed for me as our legal deaprtment is now handling this resolve.
