doubleday book club took money then deactived account without giving merchandise Internet
the first order i placed the took the money on the spot but took three weeks to deliver my books. The second time was on time. April 4th i ordered three books online and member credits. I was charged 78 and change then 27 dollars and change. i tried to log on the site and it telling my my account is inactive contact customer service.
I was wanting to check on the status. I checked my bank account and the day i ordered they took the money yet I have no books. I warned them the first time i am a retired police officer and they were committing fraud. I got my books shortly after. This time they are locking me out on purpose. It seems they are good about taking your money just not sending what you order.
I have asked for my money back with no answer. I have asked for a return of my funds and cancel my membership with no answer. This place is a joke. I could have gone to barnes and noble and got what i wanted on the spot. This is the most illegal scam I have seen and as a retired police officer I intend to pursue this first to the better business bureau and then law enforcement. Don't mess with someones hard earned money nor a officer of the law.
Dont deal with doubledaybooks. I assure you will be scammed and ripped off.
