Diamonds International BEYOND FRAUD New York, New York
Once happy cruisers aboard Royal Caribbean listened intently to the shipboard shopping professional for "best buys" in Cozumel. Diamonds International got rave reviews.
Our memorable journey prompted my wife to reach for the stars at Diamonds International and purchase a sparkling Past-Present-Future necklace on credit provided by the merchant for $6,000.
Sadly, only a year later, our future had some bad bumps and we were unable to continue making the hefty monthly payments (no fault of DI). We entered settlement negotiations and turned to family for support of a final $3,000 settlement.
To comfort the family "bankers" we took the necklace to two top jewelry appraisers in our City.
Both highly recognized appraisal firms valued our necklace at $500 or less with high gold prices making up half of the estimated value. Neither jeweler ascribed any added value to the Diamonds International name or "CROWN" cut technique. Both stated the 1ct combined weight were re-cuts from "old or miner's cut grade" diamonds. Neither jeweler had any interest in purchase of the necklace.
We were made fools of by Diamonds International and gladly surrendered their junk necklace back to their collection agent.
BOTTOM LINE: Stay away from Diamonds International junk and credit... It is BEYOND FRAUD.
