Atwest Rent A Car tries to scam me San Diego California
Have been attempting to contact them about where my deposit refund check is at, for almost a month now via phone call (4 times) and email (7 times, mainly to keep records of contact). I have received ONE half a**** response, simply stating the amount of my refund check and telling me that they will take 10% if I want it mailed to a different address on file. The amount stated was way too little to be correct. They checked out our car at almost 1,000 mile over what it really was, especially given their "free mileage policy", that's about a $230 "mistake" on their part luckily I caught. They claimed they would fix it, but due to their lack of responses I cannot see an invoice to see what exactly I'm being charged for. They are trying to charge me for more than I should be, and are nearly impossible to get into contact with. I would STRONGLY recommend not renting from them. Unless you like to give away your money, then they are the perfect scammers for you.
