Complaint Review: Arrive Logistics Inc. / Chris Neitlich - austin texas

Arrive Logistics hired Logic Inc (MC 501386) to pickup a shipment of assorted shoes and apparel on 6/29/2018 from Pica Rivera, CA to Jamesburg, NJ. The load was booked with Dan Wells at Logic on 6/28/2018. When the carrier arrived at the shipper for pickup the driver was in a VRTX Logistics (MC 916816) truck and trailer.

At first the shipper decided not to load the driver and reach out to Arrive to see why it was not a Logic truck. Arrive called Logic and again spoke with Dan who said that VRTX was on a lease agreement to Logic. We informed our customer and the VRTX driver was loaded and the trailer was sealed. On 7/6/2018 the carrier arrived at the receiver.

To our customers surprise the truck that arrived was an Orange Transportation Services Inc (MC 579646) truck and trailer. This is a conditional carrier that Arrive does not load as carriers that have a conditional or unsatisfactory safety rating do not pass our carrier administration policy. The seal on the trailer was a completely different seal and the product had been completely transloaded and re-palletized on to completely different pallets.

Some of the boxes were broken open and showed signs of pilferage. After performing an investigation of our own and having our insurance company perform a theft investigation we determined that Logic at no point had any intention of abiding by our contract and triple brokered the load. VRTX was not on a lease agreement with Logic and was simply brokered the load for the pickup.

Logic Inc brokered our load to Main Street Logistics, who suspiciously  had the same physical address at Orange Transportation, who then brokered the pickup to VRTX. Once VRTX picked up the load they went an undisclosed location and allowed an unknown party to break the seal, unload the product into an unsecured warehouse, transload everything onto new pallets, and then re-load the shipment onto an Orange Transportation truck and put on a new seal.

When Arrive confronted Logic about this they did not act truthfully and denied ever saying they hired VRTX or Orange Transportation. Arrive went as far as to call Orange Transportation directly in order to find out how they even got tendered this load.

When the call was made to Orange Transportation we were immediately transferred to none other than Dan Well’s, who was obviously very surprised to hear Arrive on the line when he was supposed to be working for Logic Inc and had told us previously they had no idea who Orange Transportation was.

He of course would not answer any questions and acted confused as to how we were put in contact with him when calling a carrier other than Logic Inc. In our conversations after the delivery in an attempt to clear everything up the owner of Logic, Tony Kirik, who also is a principal owner of Orange Transportation, was combative in tone and threatened to sue Arrive if he was not paid in full for the freight cost.

He kept denying that VRTX and Orange Transportation had any involvement in the shipment. It was only after we provided our evidence of what actually occurred that Tony said VRTX was leased to them, which we already confirmed with VRTX was not the case. VRTX told us they were brokered this load from Logic. Tony also said that they run Orange Transportation trucks, which is true, but is a clear violation of our carrier broker agreement.

In short our load that was tendered to Logic Inc was then illegally brokered to three other companies that resulted in theft of the product. As you can tell from this RipOff Report OTSI was chose not to use the actual name of their company and their owner, Tony Kirik (aka Mr. Montana) chose not to put his name on the report. Logic Inc and Orange Transportation are on our permanent do not use list and we recommend any shipper, broker, freight forwarder, etc. take their business elsewhere.

Also, no counsel was ever retained by either company to pursue Chris Neitlich and Arrive Logistics as its very clear these companies are fraudulent in nature and have no legal standing to pursue anything.
