Active.com Active Network Registration fraud - scam Internet
My friends and I registered for a local charity event. Active.com requires you to verify your email address, including a "trial membership." which offers a discount on products. The hidden truth is that they charge your card on file $79.95 after a 30-day trial period! The internet is flooded with complaints about this company - why has nothing been done? As one website reported, Active.com has become the most hated name in race registrations. They sponsor races, charity events, etc. throughtout the United States and run this scam. It is a despicable business practice and needs to be stopped.
