We had windstream internet for about 8 years. It was the only internet provider until 2 years ago then dish sattelite became available so we switched. During the time with windstream we were supposed to be getting at least 3 mg. Well we called them about every other week since on good days we got almost 1 mg. Every time they told me there was a latency problem ( too many subscribers that equipment can handle). We even called and spoke to one of the VP's at their main office. They told us no plans to upgrade at that time and they would process a $10 credit every ,month for the slow service. Never got a credit.They didn't even try to say they were bad they admitted it. Well when dish became avauilable we switched and got about 8mg but had to pay many dollars for it. Finally one day I looked at windstream and they said speeds up to 50 Mg were available in my area now. Relucially we went to windstream and so far we have had about 10 gb which is nice. The fact that we had almost 8 years hooked up to windstream paying $20-$30 moth more than we should have been should entitle us to a refund of so many dollars in the 8 years we were getting overcharged and under service. I don't know if there are any class action lawsuits going on but if so please send me the information. Les Kent
