Much like many others I was contacted by then Geoff Eldrige when I had my vehicle on Swapalease.com. He was engaging and responsive and extremely forthcoming with information about his company and the services provided. I found nothing negative online about him or his company and entered into the agreement with him/Veer Lease and again he was forthcoming with information regarding the pick up of my car, the drivers name and information, arrival time. However, once the car was picked up this is where the difficulties began. 

I will state unlike many other victims of this individual and his (as I know now many companies) he made the payments as scheduled. However, I will state that it took many reminders from me to him to ensure this happened. It has been 3 months and all three payments were made. I struggled for many days after he took posession of the car to get the proof of insurance from him. When I called the company that recieved my car. The woman I spoke to asked me if I was dealing with Geoff Hall? According to her, that was his married name. Regardless now Geoff Eldridge Hall finally provided the proof of insurance, however when I contacted farmers to get information, they would not divulge much because it was not my account. However, as I began to grow frustrated with the lack of communication I looked into the contract and it stated I needed to inform him that I wanted the car back and provide that request in writing and send it via registered mail.

Fortunately Geoff does just about all of his communiction via text which has given me a complete and thorough record of all of his transgressions or lack thereof. As I looked up the company online I began noticing more and more Veer Lease/Shift Lease and Geoff Hall/Eldridge rip off reports. Again, I will state he made the payments as agreed upon. However, I sent my letter overnight express mail. Once he acknowledged receipt of this letter, again via text message. I was expecting my car to be returned No Later than january 8th 2018. Again, realizng that per the contract he had 30 days to return it. 

I am currently still waiting on my car as I type this report. He messaged me saying the car would be delivered to me on January 12th. However, as the day began to go by I was only receiving vaugue comments about they were waiting on the car to be returned to them then it would be loaded on the truck and sent back to me in Cupertino. However, by that evening, around 5pm I stopped receiving updates altogehter. I sent him a text and/or phone call January 13th, 14th and 16th will zero reponses. I then explained to him via text and email that if my car was not returned I would report it stolen.

On January 17th I contacted the Los Angeles Police Department and explained my situation, and explained that I had all of the necessary documents, text messages or lack of, etc. They instructed me to contact my local law enforcement and file the indepth stolen vehicle report. I was instructed to also give him one final opportunity to return the car without incident. On January 17th I not only sent him text messages but also emails as I was instructed to and he began responding that he understood he needed to have the car back to my January 19th by 4pm local time. However, it is now 11:13am on January 19th and he is still being evasive and not providing any additional information about the delivery time, drivers name, company name, etc.

I cannot express my frustration and disappointment more in words that someone would treat someone else like this especially when providing a service. I do encourage any and everyone else out there dealing with Geoff Hall, Geoff Eldridge, Geoff Eldridge Hall and any of his numerous "companies" to avoid him and his companines at all cost. 

Again, everything I have stated comes with aboslute fact and documentation to prove all of my claims are true. I will continue to update this report as things happen, such as my car hopefully being returned in excellent condition or if I indeed have to make my stolen vehicle report active. Again, please reach out to me with any questions/concerns. Best of luck to anyone else out there dealing with this same or similar situation.

I am putting togehter a list of victims, like myself, of Jeff's ( or whatever his name is ) crimes. 

 

He seems to do the same thing to many people accross the united states. This is a slam dunk case for the FBI. I Just want to get as many peoples info together so I can get it over to FBI ASAP.

I have messaged Geoff several times about returning my keys (additional copies) he said he was "putting them in the mail" they have never arrived, and he has stopped returning my messages. I sent him a copy of the bill to get the 2 dents removed from my car, as well as repair the wrap on the passenger side fender and the curb rash on the rims, again no response. I will now have to reach back out to my attorney. Stay away from  GEOFF HALL, GEOFF ELDRIDGE, GEOFF ELDRIDGE HALL and his many companies that I have since discovered. VEER LEASE, SHIFT LEASE and who know how many others.

So a quick update, as I never heard back from Geoff about a delivery time, drivers name, etc. I contacted the local police to make my stolen vehicle report active. As my family and returned home from an evening out I received a text at 11:01pm with pictures of the car parked at the San Francisco Airport (which is 41 miles from my house where the car was picked up). The message to me said:

 

"Good News your vehicle was delivered in pristine (I will cover that below) condition to SFO. You'll find it in the parking garage E24 Level 2. Keys are in the center console. Goodnight and Goodluck. 

 

So I have to Uber to the airport to get the car, which costs me almost $50. I find the car and inspect it. It was clearly cleaned recently, and some cheap air freshner put inside of it. As I walked around the car, I noticed lots of issues, see attached pictures: There was a dent over the passenger door, the vinyl wrap had a tear on the front passenger fender, 3 of the wheels had curb rash on them and the vinyl wrap had many lines on it most likely from a autmatic car wash, which a wrapped car should be going into. I was also missing the extra keys I gave him, in addition my license plates were not on the car, thankfully they were in the trunk. The gas tank was near E and the parking garage ticket was time stamped for 7:14pm, which means someone drove my car from LA to SFO, then flew home and then told me about the car. So of course I had the pleasure of paying $36.00 for parking.

 

I sent messages to Geoff that evening and the following day asking about the damages to the car, which I hope he realizes I have proof those did not exist when it was picked up because I still have the paperwork from the driver who noted no damage to the car. I am now working with attorney's to sue Goeff and his many names/companies for the damages to the car. Please reach out to me for any involvement in a class action suit or any addiional help that I can provide!
