USBI - One Call Comm USBI has charged me $17.61 for a phone call made to Diego Garcxx when I don't even have long distance Nationwide
When I got my phone bill a few days ago I could not believe the charge of $17.61 for a phone call that I did not make. Specially when I don't even have long distance.
It was done somewhere across the Indian Ocean according to the representative I spoked to when I called USBI, the company responsible for the fraud.
I told him I don't even have long distance so how in the world did I get this charge. He said it was done through a fax machine or computer, but since I don't have a fax machine that it was done through my computer and I was responsible for the charge.
After repeatedly telling him I did not make the call so I would not pay for it I asked him if he thought it was right for them to be charging people for calls like this.
He could not give me an answer.
Instead he replied by telling me I will give you a one time credit, but I haven't seen anything done yet .
I put a call block on my number to see if this works, I'm
terrified of getting my next phone bill.
I just heard from my friend yesterday she got not one but three charges to Diego Garcxx from USBI.
Something needs to be done about this company USBI-One Call Comm They should'nt get away with it so easily.
