Complaint Review: United Capturdyne - Check Fee Liberty Benefits - Ft. Lauderdale Florida

United Capturdyne (aka) Royal Star Benefits, Check Fee, Liberty Benefits, Credit Enhancement, ETC. ripoff con-artists took me for all i had and i just turned 18!!! Ft. Lauderdale, FL. 33309Ft. Lauderdale Florida .....

well i just turned 18 and i have no credit whats so ever so when a credit card company called "royal star benefits" called me and said that they will approve me garanteed, but for me to qualify they asked me to put down a fee of $249 and when i approve that they will also give me a free computer. so to me that sounded like a deal of a lifetime because that way i can start some credit because i didnt have any and i was getting a free computer so i agreed.

the customer service representative started taking all my personal information down then the csr got my bank info. down so that they could take out the fee of $249 and my package would be sent to me in 2 to 3 weeks garanteed with my mastercard, benefits and a paper that i had to sign and send back to verify my address so i can get my free computer.

well after we were all done the csr intructed me on how to write the check and then void it because it was going to be debited out of my account and that was all i had to do(wrote check on 9-16-2002). now i just had to sit back and relax and wait for my new mastercard as i thought.

well it was already october 1, 2002 and i have not recieved anything yet so i called then at the number they gave me. the csr told me that it should be there for sure in a week. since i wanted to start some credit i let i go and waited. november 1, 2002 came around and i finally recieved my package, but there was only one problem there was no mastercard and no slip to sign to verify my address for my free computer, but there was a whole bunch of paper work that was not even important.

i called then back the next day after i recieved the package and asked the csr why is there no credit card in the package or slip for my free computer the scr said "theres a slip in the package that has a mastercard symbol sign on it, just sign it and send it back and you'll recieve your mastercard." so i said to my self "ok lets try this one more time." right before i hanged up i asked the csr one more question just to make sure "will this be the last thing i have to send back?" the csr said "yes, this is the nest thing you will recieve will be your mastercard"

then came december 1, 2002 and i still havent recieve anything so i called them back to see what was going on. i asked the csr "what is going on i have not recieve my mastercard yet and its been 3 months already so i asked for my refund" and the csr said "there is no refunds" when i first applied they didnt say that. i asked the csr " will i recieve it at least by christmas because im relying on it" the csr said "yes, you should get it by december 20, 2002 the latest for sure."

since they didnt want to give me my refund back i had no choice, but wait for the mastercard. then came december 20, 2002 and guess what nothing so again i called back from that day on the number didnt work anymore. so i started trippin i called my friend to find out info. on royal star benefits. he called me back the next day to tell that i have been scamed. he said "royal star benefits has lots of different names and that they have been doing it for about a year or so."

i was so pissed off when i found out that i haved been scamed because i already dont have much and then some fools scamed me for money that wasnt even mine. i barrowed the money from my mom and now i owe something i shouldnt have owed. i have read enough reports about this company that if i catch them im not only going to get my money back im also going to sue everyone involved.
