U-Haul, 30 West Auto Sales Dishonest and fraudulent quoting Warsaw Indiana
I called the U-Haul (30 W Auto Sales) to get a list of prices for their trucks. I phoned a week later to ensure that they had trucks available. I asked what their prices were once again. I drove to their location to give my credit card info and reserve my truck.
Once at the company, they took my card, ran it through the machine, and refused to tell me the price of the truck until that was complete. I kept asking how much the truck was that I was reserving.
Once they had my information, they told me that I would have to take a different(smaller) truck and pay $10.00 more. I said that I was quoted a different price. They tried to tell me that they only get one truck at that price and all others cost more.
I explained that they could have told me that before I arrived. They didn't care. I told them that they can't treat people like that just because of high demand. I said that it was fraud. He just laughed at me. I took my canceled receipt and left. I will never use them again. No matter what I said, he would repeat that he would not give me the truck for the price quoted.
