Found the ad in a local newspaper. Went to the website place my resume and application. Got a response ... checked out the BBB and the DC BBB now complaints were found... So I'm in need of employment in the worse way hocked my wedding ring to gather the money as the dead line was 6/26/04 paid the installment of $125.00 and agreed that the remaining $100 will be taken out of my first check which wont hurt to much as the promise is $10.50 and hour!!!!

Anyway, waited 1 week no word from anyone. Sent emails to all the names listed in the email and finally got an answer there was a training meeting!!! Went to the meeting which started 30 mins late. Then within 25 mins the Trainer Disconnected never to show up again. Supposedly a training meeting will be on 7/10 at 8pm we shall see.

Although I am not wondering if I should just race to my bank and dispute the charge. Here is a copy of the intial Job Offer email .

Our client has received and reviewed your resume along with your request to work as a part of their Accounting and/or Customer Services Department. After final review, we would like to make an offer of employment. You have an option to work in one of the following

positions:

Accounts Service Representative

Application Processors

Payment Specialists

Telecommunication Specialist

You will have the ability to work in two positions. Because of this job offer, you are guaranteed a position. The two companies we are recruiting for now are experiencing a very high call volume; therefore,

it is important that we get their positions filled asap.

Training will begin on 6/26/04 and we have a limited number of individuals we can train per session. Training is done online and you will have the opportunity to interact with other new hires as well!

This is a very exciting time for career!

We have already verified these positions and currently have individuals working who are a part of Target Staffing.

In order to work for these two clients and perform the various job functions, you must have access to their database and have a virtual PBX system installed on your phone. These features will allow you to take calls along with access their information to do your work. The

cost to gain access and receive calls is a one-time cost of $225. (If we were located in a physical center, there would not be a fee; however, because we are a remote support center, all new hires must meet their pre-requisites)

This is Guaranteed Placement; therefore, this email servers as an official job offer.

and here is the email sent to inform me of the training.

Your registration for this meeting has been accepted.

STOP! ..before you think about using the Better Business Bureau (BBB)... CLICK HERE to see how other consumers were victimized by the BBB's false or misleading information. Don't be fooled! It has been reported, when there are thousands of complaints and other investigations underway by authorities, the BBB has no choice but to finally give an UNsatisfactory rating to a BBB member business that is paying the BBB big membership fees every year. When a business is reported that is NOT a BBB member, BBB files WILL more likely show an UNsatisfactory rating, then reportedly shake down that company to become a member of the BBB. One positive thing about the BBB is, either way, if a business has an unsatisfactory rating with the BBB, you can be sure, the business is bad. But what about all those BBB member businesses that had complaints filed against them? Consumers never get to hear about them. What about the BBB advertising to the public? Is this a false and misleading perception they are giving about consumer confidence when dealing with a business? Click here to understand more of what consumers and business alike are saying about the BBB. You decide. ..Remember. The BBB membership is not earned, it's paid for!
