My wife and I live in Saint Peters Missouri and we decided to go to T-Mobile and purchase new cell phones. We went to the Chesterfield, Missouri Location and we were treated very fairly, however when we returned home with our new phones I proceeded to change the codes on my phone from the factory default codes. In the owners manual it says to enter the default four digit code and the enter the new code.

When I did this the phone locked up and said that the sim card was blocked. I then called T-Mobile and one of their representatives gave me an unlock code that was supposed to work but it didn't. I entered this code in two times to make sure I was doing it right. Then I had to call back a different representative gave me the same code to unlock it. This did not work only when I entered the password that THEIR representative gave me it disabled the sim card rendering the phone useless.

I called back to ask what could be done and the only thing that the person on the other end could tell me is to go back to T-Mobile and purchase a new sim card. I found this atrocious because I had the phone less than 5 hours when their representative gave me the wrong unlock codes. I can't cancell the contract for atleast a year without being penalized an absorbant amount. I have no other choice other than to just buy the new sim card and smile about it. Allthough I will tell you this. I have been in business for approximately 7 hours now and at the end of this contract T-Mobile has heard the last of me. I will NEVER buy anything from this company again.
