Tell us has your experience with this business or person been good? What's this?

Beware of T-mobile and their roaming services, I got "fined" more than $500 for using a service I never requested or was never warned it existed.

I tried contacting them and got response that is part of my agreement with them to roaming to be activated by default on my cellphone.

I've been trying to them to drop the charges or at least giving a good discount on the amount that they are charging me but they keep saying is a legit charge.

I dont know how I can get charge for something I did not ordered. If a cellphone is out of country and no roaming service is activated by the user, the cellphone should just not work. When asked for deactivation of the roaming they were: "is better or easier to turn off your cellphone".

Please help

OK lets make this more accurate.  You said your friend went on a cruise and it charged her 5.99 a minute for roaming.  Thats internation roaming.  Every carrier charges for international roaming (except if you have an updated Tmobile plan but then you'd still be paying .20 per minute for phone calls).  So were you international roaming?  Because domestic roaming is covered under your plan if its been within the last two years.

Is about the roaming of Data what you can turn off on your cellphone. These are the excuses they give me or lies

Excuses/Lies:

-You knew at the moment of signing the contract (it was never mentioned)

-You needed to check for yourself (really?)

-When you get to the cruise you need to sign with the cruise in order to use the antenna (lie, contacted Carnival Cruise Line and they told me they never have or will do that as is part of the carrier not from them)

-We sent a text when she got to the cruise warning about the charges (lie, my mother got a text when she got to her destination warning her about charges $0.20/min.)

What they charged was $5.99/min while she was in a Cruise. I think this is just wrong is like pickpocketing in the time for xmas, maybe I need to add them to the "holiday thieves". Probably want to make up their christmas.

Tmobile needs to learn a little bit from WestJet Airlines.

There is no help because "Roaming" is part of what YOU control on your phone. If its a Android phone its in your settings. It defaults automatically but it is something you can take off and turn off at will. This is a legit charge.
