Well first of all ... i like their phone service never a problem but the company is a rip off ... i bought a samsung Galaxy S3 in febuary of 2015 .... now it is august ... here in may or june started dealing with the phone's CPU overheating .. a manufacturer defect .... being it is still under warranty through straight talk .... they approved the the replacement however told me they would only send me a refurbished unit ... they told me .. they would not replace it with a new phone ... same model and all ... they claim this particular model ... they will not replace brand new ... and apparently they do not repair and send back .... but yet they will send out refurbished models .. However their policy right online states ... under warranty they will either repair or replace with new or used parts or products ... they told me it was strictly refurbished units.. so therefore they lie ... and they do not even honor their own policy so thats false advertising ... and they need to be more clear on their policies because they do not tell you anywhere on the website of which models they will replace with brand new units. so now i have called them many times ... they refuse to budge even though their policy states otherwise .. they tell me the phone is almost 6 months old ... so therefore they will not even offer a refund on it .... i have complained to the Better business bureau they have done nothing ... 4029 complaints in the last 3 to 4 years but .. however the BBB give them an A+ rating ... however unless they get a response from the business ... will not even post the complaints online ... so it makes me wonder how many complaints are going unanswered that the BBB doesnt post which i am sure would dramatically drop their rating.. Then Straight talk tells me .. oh do not worry the refurbished unit will be better than brand new...... really? ... then how come they sell them at a big discount? ... mmmm however i paid 300 dollars for my S3 .. back in febuary .... i refuse to settle for someone elses refurbished junk ... Then not to mention the time frame for sending in my phone and getting another one back .. its like 3 week turn around maybe more .... even seen complaints where they will not do a refund in less time than 30 days .... mmmmmm doesnt quite seem right to me .... however i can not sit and wait to be without my phone for more than a few days .... from complaints i have seen ... on the BBB website .... people have sent in for replacement phones taking over a month at times more than a month to get their so called replacement ... this isnt acceptable by any means ... I had asked .... how am i supposed to get my phone calls? .... i use this phone completely for work or personal ... i have no landline .. they told me i can transfer my straight talk number to a new phone or and old straight talk phone in the meantime .... well that means i would have to go and purchase another phone ... so therefore costing me money .... which it should not! .... so i just said ... i want a refund ... again no refund could be offered on this model of phone .... doesnt state anything in the policy about particular models .... or anywhere on the website .... again .... either its a made up policy by the company in order to steal ... or its not public knowledge .... and its only fair it should be .... so here i am .. sitting with a phone i cant as much as get online for 5 minutes with ... using the browser or multi tasking with it ... or it over heats ... and they refused to deal with me ..... i even told them .... Look i will give you my SSN my drivers license number whatever to send the new unit before i send mine back ... they told me no ... they could not do that .... i think its the fear of them screwing up or sending junk and the customer refusing the resolution therefore they would get sent back what they sent out and they could say they say it was a closed case .... BS ..... all that time waiting .... for a replacement ... they will not put the service on hold .... they will reimburse you nothing .... and you are supposed to like it and deal with it ..... and i refuse but i still want this resolved in one manner or other ..... but if straight talk is reading this .. i refuse to take your refurbished junk and i would just sooner a refund for the phone price that i paid ... not some rip off used price .. also they claimed under the questions about the phone ... to determine what happened .. with my answers it was determined that the phone was in liquid at one time ... according to them .... which would avoid manufacturer warranty but yet claimed they would still replace it with a refurb unit ..... mmmmm phishy? ... i have had this phone in a case front to back and covering over the screen even .... it had never seen a drop of water by me ..... so makes me wonder ... are these actually brand new phones they are packaging as brand new ... or are they also refurbs? ...... i just want my money back on this ... willing to keep the service but looking to go to unlocked phone ... so i never have to deal with straight talk and their load of crap warranty program again..... High end doesnt mean any better than any other cell phone on the market ...... 16GB .. of internal ... but yet has a CPU that overheats when multi tasking .... if i would have known about this issue with the S3 .... i would have never spent that kind of money on it ... so i am unhappy with the phone ..... and really upset with straight talk for failing honor their own public policy ....

 To whomever this concerns ... You had more than a fair amount of time to try and resolve this issue.. The fact that every time you asked me to contact your company was a complete waste of time ... Much as your request now for me to contact you ... Wasting my time and your company will just tell me more of the same ...you refused to send me a new phone ... You refused to reimburse me since i bought the phone from walmart instead of directly from you ...i have no resolved the situation ... However being i still use your cell phone service ... I will personally never buy another of your over priced crap phones again ..as i got my reimbursement that i will make clear ... That did not come from your company ... I am going with an unlocked phone ...in which case i will not have to deal with your company again when it comes to warranty issues that your company fails to honor ... Thank you
