Tell us has your experience with this business or person been good? What's this?

Some day I'm going to sit down and document all the calls I've made, and the time I've spent talking with a "customer service" department that has not been trained for any type of technical support.  As of today, no one I have spoken with is even able to activate my service.  The only way to do it, apparently, is to have bought a sim card that is actually functional.  Even when I asked to be transferred to the United States, (which I don't believe I actually was) the "management" was unable to handle this problem.

After six days, countless hours wasted, and countless WORK hours lost (I make money with my cell phone) I was finally given an answer.  I will need a new sim card.  It will take four days to get here.  No, they will not overnight it.  If I could afford to go back with AT and T, I would have, on the first day of this nightmare.

There is no corporate office phone.  Every number I tracked down to call, routes back to India, so there is no way to file a complaint with the company, except through mail, and I have also filed complaints with the FCC, the FTC, and the BBB.

There is no customer service with Straight Talk, and absolutely no technical support.

I was told I would be getting a new sim card that would enable me to activate my phone, but that they absolutely would not overnight it.  They did.  It works.  Thanks RipOff Report, they paid attention when you notified them of the complaint, but apparently the FCC doesn't get their attention nearly as well!

Still in Limbo with Straight Talk

This is the tenth day, of me attempting to get my service (that I have already paid for), activated with Straight Talk.  I am an Uber driver, and have missed ten days of work.  Straight talk doesn't seem to think this is a problem.  After they received notification of this complaint from the RipOff report yesterday, and the FCC, "Julie" contacted me that this issue was being escalated to management.  The solution, after more than 24 hours of waiting?  They are sending me a new sim card.  When will it arrive?  NEXT Monday.  So that will be a total of 14 days out of work.  Why am I still suffering through this?  Because that was all the money I had, so I can't buy a different plan.  And have been told I can't get a refund either.
