I bought 2 Soyo products (motherboard and case) in September 2004. It is now May 2005 and I still have none of the 5 rebates offered. I have tried several email correspondence with the rebate company. For 3 of the 5 rebates they claim the check was mailed and must be lost. I see that others have commented here that the same game is being played. For my other 2 rebates they say I am qualified, but I never got a follow up correspondence from them.

Tonight I contacted the 2 vendors I bought the products from and it based on my conversations it appears that they will compensate me for the rebate amounts. These comapnies are tigerdirect and Newegg. Thanks hopefully.

Note that I found the following statement on Soyo's page which discouraged me from even trying to work with them directly.

How can I check the status of my rebate?

SOYO has contracted an outside company for managing SOYO's rebate program. Only rebate house can determines whether sufficient documentation have been submitted to support and issue the rebate to users who has purchased the product. SOYO has no control over decisions which rebate house may make over issuing a rebate to a user.

If customer fill out the rebate form, include all the necessary paper work, and follow the terms and conditions on the rebate form; there is no reason for Rebate House not to issue a rebate to customer.
