My initial interview was very promising until the next day when I went on an actual field training. I was lead to believe that this company set up legit events throughout the Orlando and Maitland area, for example sporting events. When I went to the field training I was stuffed into the back seat of a car with overly sized table. When we reached the the destination of this so called "event" we pulled up to exxon mobile station where my trainer set up his table full of car cleaner goods. I was then to observe him throughout the day running from car to car trying to sell windshields to people who all they wanted to do was just pump gas and get on with there day. I eventually had enough of him harassing potential customers so I requested him to drive back to the office where my car was and he declined with the excuse "I can't leave my station". I eventually hailed a cab that cost me 20 dollars to get back to my car and I was very upset.
This company lead me to believe that they set up lucrative events Throughout Orange County, but in reality they don't. Thank you Kurt for that demeaning experience. I used to be a sales associate for a very prestigious design firm, working with multimillion dollar cliental and having a very proud sense of accomplishment. I was reduced to selling wheel polish and windshields, which by the way are completely free if you have just about any car insurance in Florida.
