Snack Vending Company Get your green meat here! the business that doesn't give a dam Little Rock Arkansas
There's 2 stories here the 1st one is:
About a year ago I went to the vending machines owned by SNACK VENDING COMPANY in the building where I work and got a steak and biscuit sandwich. I put it in the microwave and when the bell dinged I took it out, unwrapped it and took a bite of it.
The first thing I noticed was a weird taste and I thought "What the heck are these people using for spice" I then looked at the steak and biscuit and the steak was so green it looked like I was eating a spinach sandwich!!! I immediately started hurling the mother load right there in the breakroom much to the distaste of several others present. I couldn't help it...green meat is something I'd only seen on the cartoon "Hey Arnold".
I called the company and they said theye'd send someone right over which they did. What they didn't tell me was they were sending the Mafia. This guy looked like John Gotti and had the same attitide. He asked why I didn't inspect the product before I bit into it, I said I didn't know I was supposed to!
I then started pointing out the fact that there were SEVERAL sandwiches in there with expiration dates double stamped on them...God only knows how old they really were. There was spoiled milk all over the bottom rack of the machine from a milk container so old I guess it exploded. When I started pointing this all out he told me not to touch his machine again...and he meant it!!! I got my dollar back when he tossed it to me.
I tried for weeks to contact the owner of the company but his secretary was runing a good interference for him so I never got to talk to him. I blew it off, it was in fact only mine and others health we're talking about. I called the health department but since no on was dead they didn't care! They wouldn't even take a report!!
Today, I got hungry again. My mistake but I'm only human. I went down to the vending machines owned by Snack Vending and tried to get a sandwich out of the machine but it wouldn't take a paper dollar so I took the dollar to the change machine and got change. I tried to put the quarters in the machine but it just rejected them (was someone trying to tell me something?!?!?!). I then took out a 10.00 bill and got 9.00 change for it (yes 9.00, that machine didn't work either)so I could use those worthless ugly golden dollars and when I put THEM in the machine it ate them. I guess the machine was hungry since it didn't want to eat the food it served.
I called the company and the secretary couldn't believe I was calling them to get my 3.00 back. I told her .50 is one thing but 3.00 is a tad excessive. She asked my name and I told her and danged if I believe she remembered me because she got real cold and said they'ed send someone over. When I asked "when" she took my number and said the guy would call my desk when he got there.
Well here comes the mafia again but this time not so bad, but the attitude was the same. He started interrogating me as to the exact times I used the machine and how could I let it rip me off for 3.00 and I should have stopped at 1.00. I just said "Are you going togive me my money back or not?" He did.
These people need to be put in Vending Machine Hell where they sit tied in a chair all day while people drop quarters on their collective heads. They're arrogant, rude and their food is disgusting.
I can't believe Jimmy Dean Sausage would let someone like these people dispense their product in such a disgusting way. The M&M's are so old they not only don't melt in your hands, they fall apart in them. I'm going to start a petition to get them OUT of our buildings!! I'd suggest other do the same and if you're looking for a vending company in the Little Rock area, there's always "Little Rock Vending" I guess...or maybe just pack a lunch and bring it to work!

I was alerted by a friend about the "Green Meat Report" on the Rip-Off Report, then I viewed it online.
Snack Vending Company in Little Rock is a family owned operation. Established in 1974 and servicing most of the major hospitals, nursing homes, retail outlets, manufacturing plants, office buildings, schools, government facilities and etc. in the Central Arkansas area.
Operating thousands of vending machines that serve hundreds of thousands of satisfied customers on a daily basis.
This business employs dozens of caring, conscientious and professional individuals.
In 37 years of business, not one complaint has been filed with the Better Business Bureau against Snack Vending Company, check their website.
This report is signed by "Michael (anonymous)" and even goes so far as to put in a plug for a local competitor (wonder who "Michael" really is).
Now, the ULTIMATE RIP-Off.
RIPOFFREPORT, for a measely $2,000 in starter fees, will investigate this anonymous report if we can provide evidence to the contrary. Where is any evidence that this story was not concocted by a competitor or disgruntled ex-employee (yes, we have fired a few people over the years that failed in our mission to give excellent customer service).
