When we were at the Ballpark, we didn't realize the truck that was there to be given away was tied to Silverleaf, and my husband put his name in the drawing. Sure enough, today, we got a notice in the mail from AVC Travel, 6321 Blvd. 26, Suite 450, North Richland Hills, TX 76180, phone 1-866-804-8590, saying we had won one of a variety of prizes ranging from a Mercedes all the way down to $500 cash. The letter tells you all you have to do is call and claim your prize. Of course, when you call is when you will realize it's Silverleaf, and they will inform you that you need to come to a "meeting" about time shares, and that's how it will all start. DO NOT CALL and do not respond if/when they call you. And be very careful about filling out cards to get in "drawings" at fairs, the Ballpark, etc. Tell everyone you know! It bothers me so much because I have seen the way they treated my mother, an elderly woman, and while out there with her I saw how many lower income families they were conning. I will continue to tell everyone I can about them!

My family and I went to a Texas Rangers baseball game last Thursday and what do we find? We get accosted by some pushy man at a vendor table asking if we like to go on vacation. Upon realizing he was with Silverleaf, I told him we were not interested, and then he had the audacity to say loudly, in front of everyone, "You don't LIKE to go on vacation???" and then look at my husband and say, "HE likes to go on vacation!", attempting to put a rift between me and my husband!
These people will stop at nothing - deception, tricks, rudeness, pushiness, embarrassing you, whatever it takes to sell their scams. I have written to customer service at the Ballpark and told him about Silverleaf, so hopefully they won't be there any longer - but be careful! Often the first thing they ask is if you like to go on vacation and then they go into the "free" trip you can go on, so be on your guard when someone asks you that.

My mom never got her trip to Vegas ... there were so many restrictions on it: you had a pick two or three times that would work for you, they got to pick the location (one of their run down resorts, no doubt), you had to pay something like a $50 fee for it ... all in all, it wasn't "free" as they advertised. Don't get sucked in to even talking to these people, they lie all the way down the line.
