Shayna Craig Shayna Glassman, Love Peace and Paint Unpaid Wages to people that works for her BEWARE!!!
She's the owner of an entertainment company that exploits other creative professionals. She makes unreasonable demands and does not respect the boundaries of others.
She shorts her employees on their pay based on subjective intuition feelings that she has about their behavior, instead of being a responsible person to work for - you can expect to be belittled, asked to help the business in any way she sees fit. Once you explain that the request is not feasible due to restraints of resources / not-enough-pay / your tone when you speak with her... She determines that she is fair in deducting the balance she failed to pay you dating back to months.
It is not a stable environment that she provides and the volatility of her moods/feelings is detrimental to any type of business relationship. There's a high staff turn-over for a reason. While on the surface she seems nice, that "niceness" is extremely fickle and fleeting as soon as any type of issues comes up that is not in line with her "vision", at no fault of any one particular person (life happens, emergencies happen, etc.) - She blames whoever is the scapegoat at the moment for what went wrong, instead of looking inward perhaps at her miscommunication or the lack of attention to the business details such as paying her staff (owing MONTHS of backpay).
BEWARE of any type of business you do with her. If you are a potential customer, please vote with your money and ensure you support responsible business owners that actually pay their employees.

Hello, As the original poster/complaint person reporting this behavior, the person you are referring to (whoever it is) is not me. I worked for her for about 18 months. So it indicates to me that there are more people that this business owner have conned / violated / shorted on pay. I have already filed with the department of labor in NJ and honestly while the government takes a long time to respond to anything. I feel that this type of behavior is alarming that it is not only in NJ that she has done this but also in California (who actually have even harsher laws in regards to unpaid wages). I feel that this is a predatory behavior especially to those that really need the money.
This also speaks volumes about how this business LOVE PEACE AND PAINT is run. Also if the owner of this business (ie Shayna) if she can't reflect on exactly why her business associates/employees are dropping like flies and essentially have a revolving door of people that works then very quickly stops working for her. While yes, you can blame it on creative professionals to be flakey - there's also an element that perhaps it is her unfair "business" practices. I also place that in quotes because as someone who is professionally and legal savvy. This is not proper business behavior and at some point, it will catch up with her.

I never got paid anything. Was asked if I took venmo when I said no I was told I would be paid cash which never occurred, am still waiting...

The person making the complaint only worked one day for the company and got paid very well. They made 500$ in 2 hours driving around models to gigs. Then after a day felt like they deserved more money and when they didn't get it they started making false reviews on this site, yelp and others then demanded money from the company to take the reviews down. This is extortion. Please don't buy into this garbage love peace and paint is a great company that takes care of there employees. They even hire disabled people and help there community.
