Saban's Rent a Car ripo off, fraud, crooks, liars, cheats, a**holes Phoenix, Arizona
I had trouble renting from other places because they wanted a
major credit card so I found Saban's on the web with a special of
$189.00/week so I called and a lady confirmed the special. Picked up car
on Thursday 5 pm and I take it was Mr Saban's himself who filled out my
contract. I told him about the special which he confirmed, I told him
it would be dropped of Monday at 5pm.My mistake was that no where on the
contract did it say pick up and drop off date. All it said was $189.00.
On Monday 10am (before my drop off time) I had a call from a man that
worked there telling the car was supposed to be dropped of on Sunday at
5pm. I told him that it was agreed to be dropped off Monday at 5pm
that's when the man put the person I believe to be Mr Saban on the phone
and told me to bring it in before 5pm or the car would be reported
stolen. I went ahead and dropped off the care at 4pm and while he filled
out some paper work I saw Mr Saban adding cost to the vehicle when done
it added up to $389.00!! I was like what?!! He was an a*****e and told
me about all this other taxes and costs involved. The car ran ok but did
have 129,000 miles on it. I almost punched that MF'r out of anger but
decided to walk away because karma will get his a** back. My
recommendation is avoid this location if at all possible.
