Rented here a total of three times.  First two times, no problems.  Oh but then I rented a third time and all hell broke lose.  Now I see many, many other people here and on insiderpages have all had the same issue. 



As usual Lou (counter guy) requested insurance from me and I gave him a copy of my insurance card just like before.  Gave him $150 deposit and then gave $100 for 7 days.  I told him he could call my insurance company and verify right away and even on Saturday.  Lou said no because the lady who did verify insurance did not work on Saturday. 



Came back following Saturday to give him $100 for week ahead.  Lou AGAIN asked me about insurance.  I told him AGAIN insurance was the same as the two times I previously rented.  He requested I pay $187 plus for the week, and I told him I already had insurance and that they needed to verify.  Apparently the lady, Kathy, who verifies insurance STILL had not done her job to verify my insurance.  I have him $120 and was off for the week. 



Well low and behold, the real scam started.  The usually friendly Lou turned into an opposing and abraisive individual demanding I bring in more money or return the vehicle AND that was only 48 hours after I had given him $120 (advertise $99 per week).  I again told him I had insurance and did not need to pay more for more insurance.  He then quickly transferred me to Kathy and that is where I met "the brick wall".  This lady never had any intention of working with me to get my insurance cleared.  She was hostile from the moment she picked up the phone.  The situation went from bad to really, really bad.  Kathy was provided insurance coverage several times by my insurance company and she refused all of the copies.  The last resort was when the District Manager of my insurance company called her and was willing to get it clearend up.  Kathy actually told the District Manager of a major insurance company that I could not afford to pay my bill.  I could not believe that came out of her mouth.  I OVERPAID my bill the Saturday prior to his harassment. 



During the course of my trying desparately to work this out so I could continue in my work, they killed the engine of my cheap, falling apart, dirty rental and took it away.  They left me in a parking lot in the middle of a desert with no way to get home in 100 degree heat.  And like all the other on ripoffreport, I was given no final bill and they just hang up on me when I call.



Now I know why no one was ever in there when I walked in to rent a car.  Their parking lot always had old rentals waiting because the word is out on their company.  There is a natural rule of law and that will be the one they cannot escape. 



I have contacted an attorney and provided all the reports on www.ripoffreport.com and also on insiderpages.  I will do everything with my power to bring a class action lawsuit against this company for their fraudulent practices.   Everyone who allowed ripoffreport to contact them - will be contacted.
