Royal Star Benefits ripoff fraud business Champlain New York
In September of 2002 I was told I would recieve my credit card in 2-3 weeks. Instead I recieved a package 4 weeks later. I called and asked what was going on. I was told I had to fill the card out and send it back before I would recieve my card.
I said I didn't want to send that kind of information on a type of postcard through the mail system and they said there was a postage paid envelope enclosed in the package. I said no there isn't. They told me to just fold it and put it in an envelope and mail it then and appologize for the inconvenence. Three weeks later I was on the phone with them again.
I was told they were getting a much bigger response than they thought and they were trying to take care of everyone. And asked me to be patient. I told them they wern't patient about taking my $249.00 out of my checking account so why should I have to be patient about getting my card? I waited about another 2 weeks like they asked me to do.
Then I called again, I was told my card was mailed out to me October 28th, 2002. I should be getting it any day now. This went on though November to January. Then I was sent papers to fill out and send to an address: Kahnawake,Qc JOL 1BO and guess what, still nothing. So today I found the e-mail address to Royal Star and to my surprise I am filling out a Rip-Off Report. Today is April 9th, 2003 and I am just sick that after months and trust and hours on the phone not to mention $249 is alot to me, to learn that I was taken.
I want something done about Royal Star and my $249 back , not to mention it cost me for them to take it out electronically from my checking accoutnt. I hope they get caught.
