Tell us has your experience with this business or person been good? What's this?
One night I saw an infomerical about creating wealth through real estate. At the time I was unemployed and looking for a job. I registered to attend a free seminar that invited people to sign up for a 3-day workshop 2 weeks later.

On May 2006 I attended a 3-day workshop to learn how to create wealth through real estate. I paid $2995 which was marketed for $3995 at the 2-hour seminar. Robert Allen Institute offers a money back guarantee if you are not pleased after 14 days of the enrollment, which was the first day of the workshop. They also offer a guarantee if you don't make 100% of your tuition after buying then selling a property using the Robert Allen Institute methods they will refund. This deal sounds great however the company WILL NOT delivery.

It is February and I am still trying to get my refund. Below is a letter I received from one of the company's attorneys. Everything she states if false to keep from refunding me.The workshop I attended had 40 students and there were only 2 that are doing well. However the 2 are advanced real estate investors with over 5 years of experience. The workshop for them was just to refresh on real estate opportunities.

The company offers one-on-one mentor session and software to help you do business. However, the system price range is from $3995-7995. All three days the instructor explained how easy the Robert Allen Institute is then on the last day he encouraged everyone to pay at least $3995 in order to be successful in real estate market. Everything he went over was the DealMaker Pro software and features. If you did not have the money you was out of luck.

If you tried to call the customer service and/or member advisor for information they cant assist you because they are just for customer service. None of them have experience in real estate investing to know what to inform you.

I would recommend to anyone to join your local Real Estate Investors Association and learn to do business from local investors and save your money, time, and energy.

What you must realize is that we are attempting to help you and provide you with customer service, however, a refund is not the answer. When stating the program does not work, please ask yourself what you have done to make it work for you. You have not re-attended a training. Not once have you called into the member advisors available to assist you. You claim in your letter that you have and they all tried to sell you the upgraded package, but this is incorrect. Our records indicate you have not contacted one advisor.

Furthermore, they do not sell they advise. Our member advisors and mentors are very experienced in real estate and if you were ever unsatisfied with one individual, there are many others to choose from that you can speak to. Sometimes it may just be a matter of personality clashes. The point is there is always a solution, but you must let RAI know about the problem in order for us to help.

RAI is not in the business of taking peoples money and running. We provide incomparable support and continuing education to our students. We are willing to assist you, but we ask that you provide us with that opportunity.
