REVERB.COM SCAMS ITS SELLERS
Not sure why a company that seems like a great place to sell and buy stuff would go out of its way to scam its sellers. I sold a very low priced all tube amp $165.00 to a buyer in the LA. I shipped it and arrived in working condition and the buyer 10 days later said that he was having an undisclosed issue with the amp. As a seller I sold the amp clearly "as is no returns etc," and since I clamed the item was in good condition, that I have then implied a warranty???? I even refered the buyer to be sure to read my shop policy that clearly stated " used items are sold as is, no returns" hence the good price and the amp did work well when I had it. I would never sell a broken product.
Reverb claims that this person wants their money back after using the item god for knows how, and for no apparent reason other than they are not happy with it... Reverb did not care that the item was clearly sold as is. and made up their own policy. They expect me to give this person a full refund or some money back for no actual reason other than the buyer is hard up for cash...
Reverb does not care about the policies it has in writing and only cares about ripping off the sellers when it can... Luckily I gave them a one way bank account and they cant take any of my money...I suggest all of us sellers join and file a class action lawsuit....
