Tell us has your experience with this business or person been good? What's this?
I went to get my hair done for a wedding nothing fancy just an updo or curled. I told her I wanted it curled and she said ohh that would take an hour and a half. I told her thats crazy I curl mine in twenty minutes she said maybe you do but I don't.

So I looked through the style book I picked an updo that looked nice and simple. As she was doing my hair I told her I didn't like it and it was nothing like the picture. She said she was known for her famous updos but it looked as if she didn't know what she was doing!! I was so upset it looked all huge and ugly and I said you know what just take it down I don't care put it in a ponytail so she ended up curling it..it looked like crap but I had no other choice the weeding was soon and time was up...I must add I could have done a better job myself..

So I paid and not wanting to argue with someone else I left hoping to call later and let them know what a crappy job theyve done. When I called the manager was really rude and argued with me and told me basically there was nothing she could do and that the person who did my hair was her best and I thought geeze if that was her best what kind of people do they have working there? so basically the manager was rude and said that it was a lesson I learned now.

Why did you pay?

If you were truly "ripped off," why did you pay for the service? This does not make sense. If you felt that you were being ripped off, you should have insisted on not paying. By voluntarily paying for a service, you are indicating that it was done to your satisfaction.

hairstyle "dry run" practice

#3Consumer Suggestion

Mon, August 29, 2005

Hello I am a hairstylist so I will give you a little info on updos. First of all,you should go and have a consult and a "dry run" practice for something so important a s a special occasion style. Are you saying that you went to stylist that hasnt ever done an updo on you,and you didnt have picture of what you wanted beforehand, and you picked it out at your appt? I sure hope you didnt do this for YOUR wedding. That is really not a good idea! Stylists do updos, but if you pick one they are not comfortable with, you will not get the best style. This is why you schedule a practice run weeks in advance, most stylists charge a very minimal amount for this.
