Tell us has your experience with this business or person been good? What's this?
I have been a Quest customer for over 10 yrs. with 1 phone line and internet service at my home. I've had a bundle savings package with unlimited long distance included and their price for life gaurentee on my broadband service.

When I needed to add another phone line and internet service, I made 2 calls to Quest to find out my options, the best way to go about this and what it would cost extra. I was told I could add another package on a new line that would be the same as my existing package for an additional 50 something dollars and cents. That was agreeable and I ordered the service a day or two later after talking to my girlfriend about it. The second line and broadband service was for her system and use. It was explained to me that the first bill would include charges for a month in advance on the new line and would be a big bill, no amount was stated then.

Our hook up and service went as expected but when we recieved our bill it is plain that we did not get the same package as my existing line or for the price I was told. We are now getting charged 40. dollars plus more A MONTH. I am being charged for services that were included on my original line and paying more for the broadband service.

After 2 calls to the customer service line and 4 hours on the phone, the price has gone between 120. something ( which is close to the 110. we were initially told it would be before the order ) to 170.something and I have no idea where it really is now.

I'm told this is the best they can do.

How about this. Give me the price I was told when I asked about the services in the first place. It should be 110.something. Those calls are recorded by Qwest, so go back and pull them up and verify what I was quoted.

Qwest has qoted me one price for an additional service, then charged me 40.00 more a month for that service when hooked up.

This is a blatent rip off. They can verify my quoted price by pulling up my calls to the customer service dept.

They now say I couldn't have been qoted that and this is the price now, 40.00 more.

How on earth can you deal with a company that will deliberately rip you off ?

I am checking in to my options for a different provider, but out where we are, there are not many.

Qwest makes their billing as confusing as possible so they can keep people confused about the various packages and what they're paying.

Any change in service is mass confusion, one rep tells you one thing, the next rep tells you something else. I never talk to the same person twice, so they can just keep passing you around with a different story every time.

Qwest is dishonest and a rip off. This has become the normal service and attitude of corperate America and look at our country as a result of that.

Can anyone make these companys be accountable ?
