Quicken Loans Force Loan Officers to work longer hours from home Livionia Michigan
I used to work at Quicken Loans, I put in 5 years, one of the best top guy's there who always made his numbers. I asked over and over to let me please work from home(My wife after all just had a baby) when others were giving that option, which MUCH less experience. The only difference between them and me - I'm African-American Male and they were White. Out of all the Managers working at Quicken - only one is Black out of about 40 - 50 team managers.
Here's what they gave me,(See Letter Below from HR)just for being a true hard working empolyee, after making them millions for 5 years of my life. Anyone who work there should know that they don't give a crap about you, they BS you with that Top Company of this or that. It's all BS. Dan,Bill, Jay and Pat are full time Millionaires, by people working 60 hours a week for $400 bucks a loan, when they have made $6000. SEE BELOW THEY WANTED ME TO BRING IN 20 LOANS A MONTH, I WOULD BE WORKING FROM HOME - BUT 7 DAYS A WEEK. I QUIT IN JAN.2006 - NEVER LOOKED BACK - MAKE MORE $$ WORKING LESS HOURS FROM HOME AS A REAL LOAN OFFICER- NOT ORDER TAKER.(SEE WHAT THEY GAVE ME BELOW)

Quicken Loans maintains certain standards for team members in terms of production and performance. These standards have been clearly communicated to you during your initial training, during meetings and in our regular conversations.
As we have discussed, effective immediately you have been authorized to work from home. We consider it a privilege to work from home and as a part of that agreement you must meet the following criteria on a consistent basis:
You must continue to meet your production minimums outlined by your Sales Director. By January 31, 2005 you must originate 20 applications, receive 20 folders back and close a minimum of 14 loans. You must continue to achieve these numbers on a consistent monthly basis.
You must come into the office for all scheduled team and divisional meetings, trainings, etc. Your attendance is mandatory.
You must follow all company guidelines and uphold the ethics that the company follows.
You must follow all pricing guidelines and contact your Sales Director immediately in the event of any discrepancies.
If you fail to meet any of the above criteria your privilege to work from home may be revoked and/or you may be subject to further disciplinary action.
We will be evaluating your progress on a daily basis. If at any time there is a lack of effort, focus, or production you may receive further disciplinary action, up to and including termination. The minimum requirements above are subject to change at the discretion of your sales leader or manager. I am available for coaching and feedback. Please feel free to let me know if you have questions or need further assistance. You must maintain the above numbers as your minimum monthly production standard unless otherwise informed by your Sales Director or Manager.
