I had my door open last night while I was in the kitchen cooking. I heard my door bell rang it there was a guy at my door.

He wanted to show me that he has this special spray that you can spray on your doors or windows and when you child touches it it won't leave a mark. I'm a single mother living by myself. He then said is that you 5 series BMW out there I said yes why. He said that he wanted to show me how this special pumpper solution will take off the break dust off my car. He was asking a lot of questions like where do I work and what do I do, am I home all the time because he was out here last year and didn't see me. He asked where my husband was in which I said I didn't have one and do I have a boyfriend.

I was stupid enough to say no. I just thought he was a nice guy. He was helping people outside with their trash and he said that he had an 8 year old daughter. I got tired of listen to the story of it's all for charity. I asked how much it was and it was $50. I said it was very expensive. He told me it all went to a good cause to help kids get off the street and that I could get a tax right off for donation. He tried to act like a lot of people around my area ordered a few bottles and he had all this cash in his pocket.

I asked if I can pay by check and he said no because it has to much of my information on it. He said credit card of cash. So just to get him out of there I was like I will buy it and use it as a tax right off. I asked what is the total and he said $57. An extra $7 for tax and delivery. I didn't have anything shipped. The bottle looked old and the paper was coming off of it. He said that is all he had left.

When I gave him my cash he gave me a few dollar in change that smelled like weed. He said oh I sell that too. I got the bottle and rushed back into the house with my 5 year old son. I'm very creeped out by him asking questions and wondering why he wants to know when I'm at home.

I'm afraid it's a scam to come back and break into my house. I called that night to get my money back and they said to call the next day. I called today and they said they would contact the manager of John Rogers who sold me the item and see if I can get my money back. I don't think I will ever hear back from them.

If you go to the web site it says nothing about helping kids get off the street or anything about tax right off. It's a BIG SCAM. Don't not trust or open your doors to anyone. It's a shame that you can't leave your door open with out people coming to your door SCAMMING YOU OUT OF YOUR MONEY.

SUCKER FOR TRYING TO HELP NEEDY KIDS !

How to get your money back

#3Consumer Suggestion

Wed, August 01, 2007

I, too, fell for the sales pitch, and was sorely disappointed in the product. After cancelling the contract within the specified time, and calling 2 weeks later to find out about my refund, I was told they couldn't find my information by the rude woman that answered the phone. I filed reports with my state's Attorney Generals office, as well as the Attorney General's office in South Carolina. Within 2 weeks, I received a call from a woman from Pumpper's Trust, telling me I could go to any Western Union for my refund. Report these people to your Attorney General, and the offices of consumer affairs, in your state, and in South Carolina. If they get enough complaints, surely they will put these people out of business. I got my money back - so can you.
