I made arrangements through Priceline.com for a hotel in the Atlanta area. I requested a location near the downtown area that had free breakfast, swiming and free parking, with at least a 2.5 star rating. Traveling as a single Mom with 2 children (ages 2 & 11) these items are veyr important to my budget. Instead I received a hotel with none of the items listed or requested. We checked in at 10 pm , too late to access the location but we were greeted with the cost of the parking at 28.00 per night. The room is wonderful but the additional cost have started to sink in. No breakfast bar, resturant not free but extremely costly and certainly NO pool. I contacted the Priceline chat area to see what adjustments could be made. The conversation ended with an "oh well we gave you a great hotel, to bad about the other items, read the contract".......really? What was the point of making the selection and detailing the information?

They basicly did a bate - offering you to get your selection, billing you prior to seeing what the arrangements they settled upon would be , make the arrangement non-refundable and then providing you with nothing of your request.

I doubt that I needed Priceline to alter my plans in such a manner.
