I also submitted a poem that I was quite proud of. I was told it was selected for publishing and as the previous author mentioned, my poem was printed on the first page of the copies I received. Unlike the previous author, I did not receive a plaque, and had to purchase my copies of the book. To this day, I have yet to receive any payment for my work.
I understand the company is now under new management, but that does nothing to rectify the wrong that was made. I'm sure the responses I would get at this point in time would be too bad, so sad, and you're in Canada so tough luck. Such a shame that a person can take something as beuatiful as poetry and destroy that beauty with their own greed.
