Tell us has your experience with this business or person been good? What's this?
I sumited several poems and received a letter from Pen Pushers publications stating that they wanted my poem in there book called "A New Beginning" and that they needed $49.95 to have my peom appear in there book. The book "A New Beginning" was supposed to be done in November of 2001.

I was totally riped off from these people, I tried to get a hold of them but only have a recording and nobody ever answers they have a business address, but now I know that it's a money making address, it's not fair! I want my money back!

Another vanity scam...

#2Consumer Suggestion

Donald, It sounds like another vanity scam. There are groups out there preying on people's hopes and dreams. Modeling agencies, script reading agents, poetry schemes, and invention promoters--you get the idea. Report these folks to the United States Postal inspection Service at http://www.usps.com/postalinspectors/. Then call and leave a message on their answering machine telling them you've reported them and you demand your money back. Take care, though, if you paid to have a poem published in one of those outrageously unprofessional poetry "books" you may be bound because they provided the service. The only people who buy these books are the people who pay to have their poems published. Many times the companies don't even bother to edit or correct spelling! Whatever you do don't fall for the poetry convention portion of the scam. That can be a costly mistake. Good Luck!
