Niu Tech Aka Incentive Reward Center Aka Many Other Names Free Ipod offer for completing offers, never got ipod. ripped off! scam! ripoff Greenville North Carolina

I too have been burned by Incentive Reward Center aka E-Marketing Research Group aka Niu Tech. I was promised a free ipod if I completed 3 pages of offers.
I completed the following offers:
Page 1: AOL BB, Blockbuster
Page 2: AOL MusicNet, FreeBidding, BargainNetwork
Page 3: Vonage, E-Loan
After several weeks, all offers came back except for E-Loan. I talked with the mysterious "Eddie" a few days after I had left them a voicemail about it. He told me to be patient and wait a couple weeks, I did wait and it never changed on the status page. I since then have sent 3 emails, and left 3 voicemails with no response. I got information on how to pursue action with North Carolina DOJ from this site and sent them a complaint. They responded in written letter saying they couldnt handle it and they would forward it to Florida Consumer Complaint Division. I have since then responded via fax explaining that others here have went thru them and they helped them get what was owed to them (Free Ipod 40gb). Hopefully they can do something for me, I also did leave another message to Incentive Reward Center letting them know I was working with the NC DOJ so hopefully I, like others, will see my ipod soon.
The hassle has definitely not been worth a free ipod and I suggest no one else do this offer. Special thanks to Todd in San Francisco for all the useful information here.
Eddie if you are reading this, I WILL get my Ipod, I will use all legal means necessary and will not stop until I have gotten a resolution to this.

Well I received my ipod last Friday much to my surprise. It works great! Thanks to everyone for their help and if you keep on them you will get it!

Ok after a week of calls and emails I finally get an email from them apologizing and gave me a fedex tracking number scheduled for a February 24th delivery!!! So I will keep everyone posted and confirm that I did receive a 40gb Apple Ipod. Thanks for everyones help especially Todd from SF!

I am still impatiently waiting for my ipod. I called them again last tuesday and they called me back and told me that they dont have time to get a tracking number yet and to give them some time ot get the order in. Well, here I am a week later with no ipod. I called them back again today (The number where you dial an extension) and dialed extension 100 and got a "Todd". he said he would give the message to customer service for them to call me back. I explained to him that I cannot close my complaint with the NC DOJ until I have it in my hands and need a tracking number. He said he will have them call me abck with that. I am keeping my fingers crossed, I hope like most others in my position who filed a complaint that I will get some resolution to this and receive my ipod shortly. I will keep you guys posted...

**UPDATE** My wife told me Incentive Reward Center called and to check my email, low and behold there is an email saying that I qualify and they have bypassed the gift voucher and that my ipod should be arriving in 5-6 weeks. It's amazing what happens when you mention an authoritative agency that has the power to step in and make them do what they promise. Anyway, I have a feeling the ipod will arrive much sooner than that considering they do not want me to further pursue my complaint. I will keep you guys updated... It's funny though, the email says I qualify however my status page says I am still not qualified...hmmmm...well since they returned my call I am sure it is happening now.
