I must admit that this New Horizons Coputer Learning Centers is a total scam. They made me pay like 4000 grand and I while I finished my CCNA training and Network + Training, I didn't even get a Diploma stating that I acoomplished anything. I was thinking about suing the whole company, period and getting them bankrupt. I might as well.

Mary Davarro, my financial advisor, called me 20 times to keep pressuring me to alm ost exhort money from me to take more courses, like up to the CCNP (5000k)! That's almost $40,000. She is a criminal and so is her organization. She isn't doing her job correctly. She tried to basically get me to shell out unwanted money. I told her I had my A+ and she said I needed another one. Hello? The A+ Cert doesn't even expire according to Comptia.com. She's an freaking idiot. She should get fired for what evil, reprobate that she is.

Secondly, another idiot was Rob Elder, the so-called CCNA of the block. He not only was a total imbecile, I found out from outside sources that he failed the CCNA 3 times before finally getting it and he's an instructor at New Horizons in King of Prussia, PA. I didn't know they let stupid IT people to fail 3 times before being a professional, money making instructor.

Thirdly, another unqualified person. Michael Saffer, Technical Instructor. Enough said. Pompous, arrogant. He has a A+, Net+, MCP, MCSA, MCSE, MCT, and NT 4.0. Where's his Java cert, apple cert, unix cert, PhD, Masters in Computer science from a major university (Harvard, Yale, M.I.T., BU, etc.)? Scam!

I want a lawyer now. I demand the entire company to be pulled out of teh stock market and so forth.

I went to Computer Learning Centers and the same thing happened. Bankruptcy. Those greedy people stole money from tehir own company and that is why tehy no longe exist back in 2000. Luckily, my dad paid all the tuition and I got my Diploma and A+ Certification, wasn't hard at all. To this day, I don't work in IT. I was in computers since I was 11 years old and I am going to turn 36 this year. I don't understand.

I can program in 10 different computer languages, have a degree in Graphic Design from Boston University (BU), Computer Learning Center Network Technology diploma (circa 2000), a Webmaster Certification from Penn State- Abington, and Network+ and CCNA training from this so-called New Horizons Computer Learning Center. They ripped me and the rest of the world off. I demand a court hearing soon. If I had the chance I would sue them if I had the money to hire a lawyer. My sister is a licensed JD lawyer from NYC and she doesn't even know about this.

Somebody help me! I have 2,500 in a loan! Help!!!!

The location in New Horizons is nothing but a rip off, although it sounds as if the writer of this post got farther along then I did. When I signed up for their 16 week bootcamp in 2001 I was only able to get through 2 classes out of the 6 or so that I got a 15,000 loan for. I was given all kinds of excuses about how they didnt have enough students to run the classes that I had paid for. THEY DIDN'T EVEN PROVIDE ME WITH THE BOOKLETS AND DOCUMENTATION SO I COULD STUDY ON MY OWN. After a few years of trying to get some customer service for my remaining classes I pretty much gave up. No one wants to talk to you once they find out you have already paid for the classes. They just want to sign you up. Please feel free to include me in any class action that may occur. I felt the need to comment now due to the state of the economy I would hate to see other unemployed single mothers get taken for a ride the way I did. Take my advice and avoid the King of Prussia office and spend your hard earned money on a real school.

I feel bad for your situation. But, to bad mouth the entire New Horizons company and all it's locations because of your own personal situation is wrong. I for one received my MCP, MCSA, MCSE, MCDBA, A+, Sec+, Network+, CCNA and Ethical Hacker certs from the New Horizons location in Richmond Virginia. I will say that thsi location for one is top notch. I cant speak for all, but would never bad mouth them either, having only been to Richmond. I took many classes at the ECPI in Richmond and never really got anywhere. 4 years ago I stumbled upon NHCLC of Richmond and have never been happier. The staff there (only about 10) really takes care of their students (B2B or Individuals). They for one are GREAT. After the very first month of classes they started lining me up with interviews and coaching me along the way. Luckily I landed a great state job and things have been going great ever since. I and all employees working under me will take classes at this location. Sorry for you situation. But again not all NHCLC's are bad!!
