Tell us has your experience with this business or person been good? What's this?

I started recieving calls about three weeks ago.  I was appalled that a collection agency was calling me to collect.  I have a credit score in the top 5% of the country.  I owe nobody any money except my mortgage and a payment has never been missed.  As a matter of fact I have never missed any payment of any kind in the 56 years of my life.  They left a message to call 866-437-7403.  So I Googled the number and found out how this NCO Group Inc has been nothing but trouble.

  I must say for this company to legaly keep in business they must have political protection and connections to insure there is a law somewhere protecting their business plan.  This is how our country is destrotying itself.  We have politicians and now supreme court judges; who gives rights and privilages to companies.  We the workers are nothing but a money source.  The rich just get richer and we just get poorer.  Looks like it is getting time for a revolution!  We must stand up and take back our rights as humans as guaranteed by the last revolution.  Now I see why our founding fathers have put in a Second Amendment.  So we have the ability to protect our rights and revolt when we can.   We must all remember that we have the legal and moral right of the Consitution and our Bill of Rights to revolt against our government.  Our founding fathers built it into the Rights.

You know the saying "use it or lose it"   I say it is aboout time we all use it!

Quite the tirade!

#2Consumer Suggestion

Thu, July 08, 2010

That was quite a tirade you typed considering you don't even know why they are calling you!

I don't like debt collectors one bit, but you really should at least determine WHY they are calling you.

I can think of several things;

1. a debt that is incorrectly tied to your SSN.  I've had this happen to me.  I was contacted about a medical bill from Kenmore Mercy Hospital for back surgery.  Problem is I've never had any back surgery and I've never been a patient at KMH.  I quick phone call to KMH put a stop to it.

2.  Possible identity theft.  It is possible that some deadbeat scum has used your identity for credit and isn't paying.

3.  Sloppy skip tracing on their part (very likely.)  What these scum will do is contact anyone with the same or similar last name hoping to get some chump who will pay to make them go away.

I really think you should at least find out WHY they are calling you.  After that, you can send them a certified, return receipt requested letter to cease any contact with you.

Read up on the Fair Debt Collection Practices Act at the FTC website www.ftc.gov and learn what you can do to turn the tables on them if they continue to harass you.

Good luck.
